Once you secure a rate with them, if that rate improves, then your lender will NOT tell you this, meaning you could be losing out significantly. If we secure a rate for you with your existing lender, we won't charge you a fee, and if rates improve between application and completion, we will look to make positive changes for you. Some lenders allow you to secure a rate up to 6 months in advance, so there is plenty of time for rates to change and we’d hate for you to miss out.
