Decision in principle

A Decision in Principle (also called an ‘agreement’ or ‘mortgage in principle’) is a key step when purchasing a property. We’ll check your situation with a lender and perform a credit check which is a ‘soft’ credit check with most lenders -no charge, no risk- giving you clarity and confidence. For remortgaging, this step may not always be necessary.

Full application

Once your offer is accepted on the property you love, it’s time to decide on a few things: how much to borrow, your mortgage terms, which solicitor to use, survey type, and important things like insurance.

Ongoing support

From application to completion, we’ll push your lender for a quick approval and liaise with estate agents, solicitors and surveyors as needed. Plus, we’ll monitor interest rates—if they drop before your mortgage completes, we’ll aim to secure a better deal for you.
